It’s breast cancer awareness month, so the shops are stuffed full with pink items.
I got a phone call yesterday from a friend who asked me to go visit, which is easy enough to do since she lives just across the road (more or less). She handed me this:

From what I can understand (my Dutch reading comprehension isn’t great), it reads: To show that the progress against cancer can’t stop, I’ve designed a scarflette. Buy and wear this scarlflette and let it be seen that you also believe in a world without cancer.
It’s a pretty patterned scarflette that is as light as a feather.
I’m wearing it with pride, although it’s now tied around my ponytail.
